We understand that learning is more than just facts and figures; experience counts for a lot too.

We have three options to help you in to the world of work: Apprenticeships, which is a full-time, long-term placement, work experience, which is for a much shorter period. We also have the new "VTalent Year" in which you run your own voluntary programme for a year learning and using new skills to make your project a real success.

The Apprenticeship scheme allows you to learn whilst being employed - you will spend the majority of time with your employer and will attend college to learn your trade. Work Experience gives you the opportunity to put classroom learning in to practice by attending an employers workplace and taking part in a range of tasks. Placements can range from 2 weeks to 1 day each week for 6 weeks.
