At Sussex Coast College Hastings we understand that you want to make the most out of your college experience. Whether you want to compete and be the best that you can be in your preferred sport or just learn a new skill, get fit and meet new people. We currently offer the following sports. However if you are keen to start another sport at the college, we will give you our support and encouragement .

PLEASE NOTE: All students wishing to attend an enrichment option should sign up by speaking to Kiera Chapman or April Grant before attending their first session.


Kung Fu

Learn Wing Chun Kung Fu, a popular martial art of Chinese origin, made famous by Bruce Lee and taught by a renowned instructor. Begin working towards your first student grade, or just come for the exercise.

Lead by Olympian Sean Baldock, the running club is a good introduction to running whether you want to jog for fitness or run the Hastings Marathon or Half Marathon.

D of E (Duke of Edinburgh)

Would you like a challenging yet awading experience? Doing the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award you will take part in a variety of activites including hiking, camping, sports, learning new skills and participating in voluntary work.

Every department has the chance to enter a 5-a-side team (more then one team if lots of people are interested). The winning team has its name engraved on the plaque!

Boxercise

It's time to get the gloves on and get involved with the new fitness craze! Boxercise is a full body workout integrating fitness with non contact boxing for an enjoyable workout! Using non contact techniques, boxercise is designed to tone your body and give you the definition you have only ever dreamt of.
