Coast Restaurant is a modern and very popular formal dining restaurant open for lunch and evening dinner.

It is open to the public, staff and students throughout term time. Our students serve customers in
the restaurant as part of their training under professional supervision. In addition, students prepare, serve and cook the dishes using only fresh, seasonal and local ingredients wherever possible.

We accommodate and welcome guests with special dietary requirements, however please advise at the time of booking in order to allow the kitchen staff to be equally creative with their meals.

Fine dining at Coast

On Wednesday and Thursday evenings the students provide a formal six-course silver service dining experience.

We offer the finest quality food and wine in intimate surroundings at Station Plaza. We source local produce where possible, promote the Slow Food Movement and will soon sell local wine from Carr Taylor Vineyard.

Recently we hosted a function for the royal visit of HRH Princess Anne when she officially opened the new Station Plaza Campus. Coast Restaurant is an excellent venue for small and large parties and is popular for business and social events.

Restaurant opening times

Coast is open for lunch Monday to Friday during term-time, providing a relaxed and professional atmosphere featuring seasonal lunch menus, which evolve with our student’s curriculum.

• Open every Monday to Friday for lunch from 12 – 2pm
• On Wednesday and Thursday evenings we serve a six course Silver Service Dinner from 6 – 10pm
• Served by Level 1, 2 and 3 students

• Coast remains a popular location of choice for private functions and events. Due to this success, it is advisable to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
