Library helps others 'Survive Christmas'
April Carrol has officially opened the Library's 'Christmas Lounge' at Station Plaza.
The lounge is an area where readers can enjoy Christmassy books and read fact sheets about Charles Dickens. To foster the Christmas spirit, the Library at Station Plaza will host Christmas quizzes, and a coffee morning on 7 December. They will also be selling handmade Christmas cards and stockings and both libraries will be collecting food donations. Proceeds will go towards Surviving Christmas, a local charity set up to help vulnerable families in Hastings and Bexhill over Christmas.
