Full-time FdA and FdSc courses
UK and EU students: £7000
Returning Year 2 for 12/13 is £3465.
(EU students will have to pay an additional admin fee, TBC.)
Part-time FdA and FdSc courses
UK students: £3500
Returning Year 2 for 12/13 is £1200.
BA (Hons) courses
UK and EU students: £7500.
HE PGCE / Cert Ed courses
UK ad EU students: TBC
International students
Non EU: £9000
(This includes registration and admin fees of £2100)
Fees and funding
By choosing to study a university course you are making an investment in your future. Anyone considering studying needs to plan their finances carefully. We want to make sure that no one is deterred from coming to the University of Brighton by concerns about cost. As a University of Brighton student studying at Sussex Coast College you are entitled to University of Brighton financial advice, funding and scholarships.
Fee payment
Higher education fees are paid in three installments over the academic year. The first is payable at enrolment, followed by payments at the beginning of the Spring and Summer term.
Up-to-date information on fees and government funding can be found on www.brighton.ac.uk/money. The University of Brighton offers bursaries and scholarships to help you through university. The different help includes the following:
University of Brighton bursaries
For full-time UK and EU undergraduate students up to £1,080* depending on your family income. This money doesn't need to be repaid.
Scholarships
For full-time UK, EU and international students who have been recognised for their achievements. Worth £1,000, this money doesn't need to be repaid.
Sports Scholarships
For selected students. To support the development of elite, talented and disabled athletes. Worth £300–£1,000, this money doesn't need to be repaid. *Figures based on 2010 entry.
