About this Course
The Hair, Beauty & Spa industry continues to expand provisions both nationally & internationally. There are many & varied employment opportunities ranging from starting up a business to working within multinational companies This course provides a nationally recognised qualification designed to give the advanced technical skills, knowledge & personal attributes to maximise opportunities for work in this enjoyable profession Students will have access to a wide range of leaning resource facilities including both training & commercial salons, hydrotherapy spa, laboratories & experience of spas & product companies around the country.

Entry Requirements
Students must be over 18 and have gained a level 3 qualification in Hair, Beauty, Complementary Therapies or other related qualifications 2 A levels with supporting GCSE at least 3 grade C or above including English International Baccalaureate 24 points, Access course, For non-native speakers of English IELTS 6.0overall, 6.0 in writing Mature learners should demonstrate extensive work experience with a range of professional qualifications in that work sector

Areas of Study
The course includes a variety of theory & practical sessions including lectures, discussions, group work, visiting speakers, visits to spas & product manufacturers. Assessment methods include case studies, presentations, practical performance, projects, reports & essays.
Employment and Progression Opportunities
This course maximises the opportunities for employment at higher supervisory & management levels in salons & spas or related manufacturers of product & equipment, in training. Business enterprise encourages setting up your own business. Students who successfully complete can progress to related Degree courses
