Beauty is big business in the UK, with some 16,000 outlets ranging from nail bars to spas and fully appointed beauty salons. Beauty VRQ level 1 will provide you with the skills you need to progress to level 2 and then into work. You will develop practical basic skills in facials, manicure and pedicure , head massage, photographic make-up and nail art, and will create a total look incorporating hairstyle and fashion. All learning is hands-on, and day-to-day salon experience will help you develop excellent customer service skills, supervisory skills and organisational abilities.
