The BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering is taught by industry specialists and keeps up with rapidly developing technologies, providing the knowledge and skills to work in the modern engineering industries. You’ll take core units in health and safety, mathematics, science, communications and project planning, plus optional units in topics including engineering design, materials, thermodynamics, computer-aided drafting and digital systems – meaning that you can go on to become specialised in a particular area such as aeronautical, environmental and civil engineering or vehicle design.

What do I need?

Five GCSEs at grade C or above including English and Maths or an appropriate level 2 qualification. Satisfactory completion of your existing studies.
