This level 2 course is an ideal part-time entry point into the vastly rewarding world of the professional engineer. The course is theory based with elements of practical activity; giving the student a taste of what it takes to be an engineer in the 21st century. You will develop a range of skills through lessons in useable engineering maths and science, computer-aided design and computer numerical control. The qualification forms the technical certificate part of the apprenticeship framework at level 2, making successful students ideal candidates to be picked up by the many local engineering companies seeking suitable apprentice applicants. Many of our students go on to varied and exciting jobs in the engineering field.
