Recruitment in ICT is set to grow at five times the average UK rate – so if your career plans include web design, systems analysis or software development, the prospects are good. This course enables you to further your programming skills and technical understanding, anaylsing complex tasks from different angles and developing innovative solutions. The course includes units in systems security, communication skills and e-commerce together with optional topics such as graphic animation, games design, systems analysis and advanced database skills. The Diploma also includes technically advanced areas such as CISCO systems and client and server operating systems, and you’ll be given the opportunity to put your IT skills through their paces on a work placement.

What do I need?

Four GCSEs at grade C or above including English and Maths or an appropriate level 2 qualification. Satisfactory completion of your existing studies.

How will I be assessed?

This is a coursework based qualification, and you will be assessed through assignments.

Graphic animation, games design, web design, systems analysis, CISCO systems, operating systems.
