About this course

Are you interested in developing software and supporting technologies for consumers or commercial use? This course focuses on the technical and human skills required to develop software systems. Some of the modules on the course look at the interface, coding and storage of data with a focus on the web. Other modules look at resources and services to support the software systems. Key to all this is the understanding of existing systems and planning what is required in new or updated systems, all of which are covered within this course.

Areas of study

The modules are structured around the three-tier model which allows these technologies to be successfully combined in order to develop a system that exploits front- and back-end technologies.
