Working with children and young people can be one of the most rewarding ways to make a living, and the Certificate for the Children and Young People’s Workforce will open the door to many careers in this area. The qualification will prepare you to work in a supervised capacity with children and their families in a variety of settings. The course combines theory and work-based experience, and you will gain an understanding of the role of the childcare practitioner in the workplace, learning how children develop and play, and how to keep them in a safe, healthy, nurturing environment.
