The BTEC level 2 Diploma in Retail Knowledge provides an introduction into the fast-paced world of retail. You will learn the basic principles of retail, including visual merchandising, personal shopping and helping to drive business forwards. You will have the opportunity to develop excellent customer service skills along with improving your artistic skills to design and dress shop windows and displays. You will also have the opportunity to learn from visiting successful retailers about all aspects of the job including personal shopping and dealing with high end brands. You’ll complete vocational modules that will give you an insight into this exciting industry and give you all the experience you need to succeed. This is a practical course that will give you the relevant skills to move towards a career in retail.

What do I need?

Two grade Ds in English and Maths and two grade Es at GCSE or relevant level 1 qualification. Satisfactory completion of your existing studies.

This is a coursework-based qualification and you will be assessed through assignments.
