This course presents an exciting opportunity to develop the advanced skills required to meet the needs of a fast-changing retail market. Learners are given the opportunity to develop their leadership and team-leader skills, to understand budgets and buying strategies, and are prepared for a career in retail management. You will undertake aspects of food retail, fashion retail, merchandising and personal shopping. You will also undertake management units to incorporate team management and motivating people.

What do I need?

Four GCSEs at grade C or above including English and Maths or an appropriate level 2 qualification. Satisfactory completion of your existing studies.

How will I be assessed?

This is a coursework-based qualification and you will be assessed through assignments.

The relevant skills to move towards an exciting career in the fast-paced retail industry.

What are my career opportunities?

Successful students have a number of career options: in retail store management, as a senior personal stylist/shopper, as a senior customer service assistant, or as a self-employed retailer.
