Do you see yourself running a successful business one day? This course is ideal if you’re keen to know how business works and want to develop your skills – either with a view to a business profession or further studies at university. You need a genuine interest in the local and national economy and how it affects businesses and individuals, and must be willing to work on your own and with others to complete projects to deadline. The course is taught by experienced business professionals, and the wide range of topics includes finance, law and human resources, economic issues, running your own business, marketing, events and managing PR. Coursework involves guest speakers and real-life case studies, and you will get the opportunity to undertake work experience.

What do I need?

Four GCSEs at grade C or above including English and Maths or an appropriate level 2 qualification. Satisfactory completion of your existing studies.

How will I be assessed?

This is a coursework based qualification, and you will be assessed through assignments.
