Level 2 & 3
This Apprenticeship covers work in a broad range of digital technologies which help us use and share information, such as mobile phones, computers, broadband provision, and satellite communications. IT and telecoms jobs are no longer just about the technology. All jobs now require you to have good people skills as well as the technical skills you’ll gain during your Apprenticeship.
The industry is looking for 142,000* new workers over the next three years, so the career prospects are excellent.

What will I gain?
A nationally recognised qualifi cation in your chosen career. (To include an NVQ L3, Technical Cert, Key Skills @ L2 and ERR).
Who is it for?
An Advanced Apprentice dealing with developing software, or training people to use software correctly. You will need to be methodical with attention to detail & have excellent communication/customer care skills.
What will I study?
Software installation and upgrade, communication skills and technical fault diagnosis.
How is work assessed?
You will attend college one/two days a week and your work will be assessed through observation in the workplace and by building a portfolio of evidence.
What can it lead to?
Excellent career prospects in ICT and an opportunity to progress to a Foundation degree in IT or a similar subject area.
How do I get onto the course?
Interview required for admission onto the course, plus confi rmation of full-time employment.
