Artist singing into microphone

We are looking for adults to sing in a performance at Station Plaza!

The performance, which is free to the public, will take place at 7pm on Tuesday the 9th March, as part of a Festival Week to celebrate the opening of the building. It is being composed and conducted by Juliet Russell of Vocal Explosion (www.vocalexplosion.co.uk) and is designed to celebrate the character and history of Hastings through song.  ‘Singers don’t need to read music’ said Juliet, ‘they just need to commit to five rehearsals, on the dates below’

The performance will take place in the Atrium of the building, with the choir using the balcony areas as ‘stages’.  It will involve singers of all ages from across the town.

Naomi Robinson, who is organising the event, said, ‘This performance is by the people of Hastings for the people of Hastings.  Audiences will be able to join in to create a sound that fills this wonderful new space and celebrates the past and future of the town.’ If you would like to be part of this inspiring event please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  Otherwise, just come along to the event on 9th March and soak up the sound (standing room available for up to 200 visitors).
