Artistic Acquisitions

artistic Sussex Coast College Hastings has become the owner of three works of art purchased from a former student.

The paintings have been on loan to the college ever since Moram Ali painted them whilst at the college in 2006 and the college recently decided to become their permanent owners.

Sue Middlehurst, Principal at the College said ‘Moram’s paintings are vibrant and full of life– he is another outstanding artist emerging from our Art Department and we are proud to display his work’.

Moram said ‘I believe Hastings college is a good art college because of the dedication of the tutors, who really inspired me and who are all outstanding artists in their own right’.

Moram is now considering furthering his artistic studies and taking an MA.
