The Art of Success

A learner on the Contemporary Crafts Degree has won an award for her work placement work.

Susie Fuller organised a series of workshops about Churchill’s Art for the Imperial War Museum in London.  Churchill was a prolific painter and the workshops explored his approach to the craft.

A colleague at the Museum nominated Susie for the award and she won against 20 other nominees in her category for ‘bringing innovation’ to the Museum.

Susie wants to go on to gain a PGCE after her degree, so that she can run educational workshops and events for museums and galleries,  In the meantime, the museum has asked her to continue as a volunteer.
