Cooking on Gas
Learners on the college’s Response to Redundancy programme have cooked a four course meal for friends and family as the culmination of a 6 week course in catering.
The learners studied 3 days a week, learning techniques in food preparation, baking and food service. They gained skills and experience to help them get back into employment.
Julie Di Mascio, one of the guests at the lunch said ‘the food is perfect and the service is excellent, I’m impressed’.
