Beautifully Presented

In March, the college hosted its Annual Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy Awards Ceremony in the spacious Atrium at Station Plaza. The awards were presented to learnersfor their outstanding achievements throughout the year.

Attendees were greeted by level 3 Travel learners who offered tours of the building. The ceremony included learner demonstrations and presentations to an audience of local employers, suppliers, sponsors, college staff and friends and family.  Catering learners provided a delicious array of canapés during the interval and guests were entertained by The Hastings Stage Studio Dance Team.

Jill Silverthorne, Section leader for the Hair and Beauty area said: ‘The event motivates learners to aim higher and celebrates success of those who have excelled in their chosen field; We are very impressed with the high standards & variety of their work’.
