The live show, last Tuesday evening (25th April) featured three of the country’s top barbers, demonstrating some of the latest hair style trends.
The atrium at Sussex Coast College provided the perfect setting, welcoming local barbering professionals and budding barbers of the future along for the 3 hour spectacle.
GBBB organiser, Gary Spencer, hosted the evening, while barbers, Atilla, Greg and Simon demonstrated a whole range of cutting techniques, including how to fade, cross graduate and double sponge. They also gave running commentary to the audience as they produced a range of diverse styles, on six different models.
Chris Stevens, Head of Barbering at Sussex Coast College said: “It was a fantastic evening and it was really great to see top class work coming to Hastings. It gives local barbers and hairdressers the opportunity to see such a high level of work up close, without having to travel too far.”
“It was fantastic for the students to be able to ask professional barbers about problems they encounter when cutting hair, and the barbers were equally impressed with our students knowledge and level of barbering.”
“We hope to welcome the team back to Sussex Coast very soon.”
The Great British Barber Bash team regularly tour up and down the country, and will be hosting shows in Dublin, Glasgow, Liverpool and Amsterdam later this year.
